Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers praised the 33-year-old for the feat and his long service to the club.Brown is in his 12th season with the Glasgow side and has won eight Scottish Premiership titles in that time.Rodgers said: To play 500 games for Celtic is a real testament to your professionalism, your perseverance and persistence, and your quality. You see what he is now.
