Who did he play for?

Defender Rose played his entire career in the German league. Where has he managed?

Rose managed FC Lokomotive Leipzig for the 2012-13 season, winning just nine of his 30 games in charge.From there he moved to the youth setup at Salzburg before taking over the first team in 2017.

What is his record like at Salzburg?

Very good. He led the Austrian side to the semi-final of the Europa League last season and won the domestic title.His side are also 14 points clear this season so look set to retain that trophy. They are also into the last 32 of the Europa League and have yet to be beaten in any competition this term.

His thoughts on Jurgen Klopp?

“I had the luck to work with a lot of good coaches,” Rose told theMirror. “I trained and worked with Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel.“Both are outstanding coaches in their own way. In general you learn from each coach something new but in the end it is important to figure out who you are as a coach and to stay authentic.“I know Klopp as coach and person. Everything he is doing is always with more than 100 per cent. Moreover he has this skill to transfer his enthusiasm to the team.“And he understands to surround himself with people who support him. We are in touch regularly and talking as friends.”

What is his style of play?

Rose likes a 4-4-2 diamond with a heavy emphasis on Klopps gegenpressing style. He likes to attack. His side plundered 17 goals in six Europa League group games this season.
