He was linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United but The Independent claims there has been a recent breakthrough in talks with Bayern andnow Ramsey is expected to sign a long-term contract with the German giants from the start of next season.The Welshman’s current deal with Arsenal was signed in in May 2014 and negotiations for improved terms collapsed last month.And the signing of Ramsey will be a welcome piece of news for Bayern boss Niko Kovac, who is under pressure following their shaky start to the season which sees them lie fifth in the Bundesliga. Ramsey, who recently won the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for his strike against Fulham,was Arsenal’s Player of the Year for 2017/18.He has been with the Gunners for a decade and has scored 59 goals in 343 games.
