Leeds striker Patrick Bamford hugged by manager Marcelo Bielsa after scoring wonder goal in training and Benjamin Mendy is jealous
Patrick Bamford received a heartfelt hug from his manager Marcelo Bielsa after scoring a sensational volley in Leeds training. The Argentine gaffer ran half the length of the clubs training field to celebrate with his striker, seconds after he absolutely buried the strike during a long ball drill.Bamford, 25, has been suffering with a knee ligament injury which has kept him out for much of this season, but is now back in training as seen in the video above. He joined Leeds in the summer after signing for Middlesbrough last season. Before that, the Englishman spent five years at Chelsea, during which time he was loaned out six times.Despite their recent 4-1 defeat to West Brom, Bielsas men currently sit third in the Championship. They are set to host Bristol City when they return to action after the international break on Saturday. And the boss’ reaction sparked some memories for Manchester City ace Benjamin Mendy, who played under the man known as ‘El Loco’ at Marseille.
