David de Gea is no closer to signing a new contract with Manchester United, according to reports.De Gea, the Spain goalkeeper, is out of contract at the end of the season, but he, along with eight other players, has a clause in his deal allowing United to extend it for a further year.1

It is believed he does not want to remain with the club for the peak years of his career if silverware is an unlikely proposition.Juventus are on the lookout for a new number one and have been linked with De Gea.
